Still in disbelief that the NYR - who have four elite or potentially elite RHD organizationally - took a RHD in Schneider over Lapierre. If he can stay healthy he's going to be a stud.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was an FU move to NJ, who definitely weren't taking a center in that spot.

His “injury” is scary but if this kid is really okay and they fix the issue like they believe they’ve identified this kid could be the steal of the 2020 draft class (can’t say I blame teams for passing on him as you don’t want to select a glass cannon)

I think this was an outstanding pick where they got him and shocked that he was still there. This kid is very skilled and will replace Nicklas B in the future.

While I respect it, I don't think it was necessary to trade assets (picks) and pass on centers like Lapierre and Zary.

I've heard Guhle is actually pretty good. I worry that Schneider will be another McIlrath for us though...

Your user flair says it all. Why do you hate on the Hahs so much? Guhle has potential to be a Petry for us

Dont worry about that. Schneider and Guhler are guaranteed NHLers but they will be at best 2nd pair dman while guys like Wallinder, Grans etc will be top 4 guys

bruh what are you talking about? I love the habs I am just very unhappy about how they have been doing things lately. Guhle is going to be NOWHERE CLOSE to Petry. Petry is a top pair dman and Guhle is a guaranteed NHLer but will be nothing more than a 2nd pair dman. We already have Norlinder, Strubble, Mete, Fleury, Brook, Romanov, and Fairbrother. Yes it is good to stock up the cabnets but at 16 it didnt make sense and if you wanted a dman we should have went for a higher potential guy like Wallinder, Grans, Villeneuve etc.
