Sorry but Blackenzie Mackwood sounds like a main character from one of those 70s shaft style movies

It had to be said

Grimaldi is worth more than a 5th, but also there is no point to trade Grimaldi from NSH's perspective -- they love him.

Neither of these deals should be considered.
NJD has plenty of young wingers.

Do you think they will sign Hoffman and aquire Killorn? This post was made assuming they do.

I have a feeling they would've done so already if they were planning on doing that. This is just my assumption, but I have the feeling they're working with an internal cap - otherwise, why not sign Hoffman already? I think they want to have some room for the rookies - Tomasino, Tolvanen, Trenin, potentially Pitlick - to play. I could see them adding one additional top 6 forward, maybe that's Hoffman or Killorn, but I don't think they have to. Poile has said he wants to bring up the rookies and give them playing time, so he may be done making moves.

Thomas Drance of the Athletic said a couple weeks ago that Hoffman's preferred team needs to clear cap to make room for him. If this is true, that seems to eliminate NSH from the Hoffman sweepstakes, as cap space isn't an issue for them. Unless Poile gets offered a deal that's too good to turn down, I agree we won't see any more moves from them.

If Hoffman wanted to play in Nashville, he would've likely signed by now as they have the capspace. Thing is... he's not a player i want to give a long term contract and him signing a 1 year contract would probably drop his value as forwards productivity seems to crash in Nashville. Killorn is a good option down the road but Tampa is going to explore every option they have trying to trade off less productive players on similar contracts like TJ.
