At league minimum I'd do it, and it's the only place where he had success so he might go for it.

Without the locker room issues, sure. The guy still can produce, especially on PP. But it won't happen, I dont think he appreciated his time here.

I added it cause I heard from someone on here there were issues. I personally didn't hear anything about it so I don't know if there were.

Absolutely not. Even without the locker room issues, he’s not good enough to make the NHL roster. And Laval is better off without him.

Do you really think Claude Julien will give Chucky ice time over any other players

He will play 3 minutes a game and PP only

I dont think you can call a former 30 goal scorer not good enough to make an NHL roster. He never lost his speed, skill or shot. His issues are with his work ethic and attitude which may have worked themselves out by now.

He would also has more talent than Byron and Lehkonen as well like I said before his issues are self inflicted. If he can fix those he can be an extremely useful player. CJ at least knows his limits and would put him in the best position to succeed even if it's only on the PP and limited ice time

Byron & Lehkonen are much better in regards to their all-around game. Chucky is a one trick pony, (his shot) and that one trick isn’t even that much better than Byron/Lehkonen. I’d even go as far as to say that Byron is a better offensive player than Galchenyuk.

Galchenyuk left the habs playing on the 4th line. That was where he deserved to be back then, and now the habs are better and Galchenyuk is worse.

I’d rather Belzile. Sure he doesn’t do much of anything at the NHL level, but at least he’s a net-neutral player, he won’t produce any offense, but he also won’t make any egregious mistakes.

Galchenyuk is a net-negative player, where sure he might produce more offensively, but he’s a great burden to his teammates defensively.

I’d rather have Hudon, and I know he isn’t coming back, but he wouldn’t have made the habs, and neither would Galchenyuk.

So basically it's 50-50 on whether or not to bring back Chucky. With or without Chucky this is a very solid team. I don't think it really matters one way or the other. I personally like Chucky and think he can turn his career around. Defense and hard work can be taught IF your willing to learn. The problem with AG is he was never willing to.
