Dadonov, Batherson, Tierney, and Norris are in acceptable spots. Paul can play centre, but is more likely on the left side.
Let’s start with down the middle.
White had a sophomore slump last season, and should get the toughest assignments, so he’s likely 1C until someone else steps up.
Tierney is a competent 2C, not great, but okay. White and Tierney at 2C & 3C would be better, but this team isn’t there yet.
Norris could slot in at 3C, decent ice time, protected zone starts.
Anisimov, although not a fan favourite, can still play 3C, so 4C works for him.
Chlapik was Ottawa’s best defensive centre last season, and is ready, but will likely start in Belleville.
Tkachuk is 1LW
Dadonov 1RW
Stuezle should be 2LW, playing with two vets.
CBrown 2RW
Balcers & Batherson can join Norris on a kid line, sheltered minutes and/or easy matchups
Paul & Watson can form a checking line with Anisimov.
Defence is fluid, as long as Chabot is 1LD, and everyone is on their proper side, Brannstrom on either side, it’s all good.
Those are my opinions on the lineup possibilities, but there’s going to be a lot of line juggling.
