Description
Would love to have Sergachev, but at what cost? I strongly believe Tampa matches if the offer is $6.5M or $7M. If not, then fine. If they do, then the B's can use part of those $$ to pursue Hoffman perhaps?? Or they could just trade JD for a lhd.

there's literally no need to trade ritche. He can easily come back next year and play fairly well. If not bury him in the minors and save 1.2 mil. Also having John Moore can't hurt thus year. Ya he is over payed, but he is still a number 6 nhl defensemen. Bruins left side is weak, moore can step up and play 13-15 mins a night

Agreed. Think it's usually a case of "Welp, this good player is available, so let's dump depth guys to a team that doesn't need them and then sign the good player!"

Moore is fine. He can play up and down as needed, and may increase his value with more minutes this year. Given that the B's will likely be without Pasta and Marchand for the first month or two of the season, they're going to need guys like Ritchie that can fill holes throughout the lineup.

1st, 2nd, 3rd and the cost of losing Gryz at expansion next year puts the B's in a monster hole, obviously Sergachev is a good player but Im not sure if its worth that. I just think they go with the young guys and look for a rental if need be. The Debrusk deal is probably close though

exactly. With the left side already in question, I might be one of the few who wants to hang onto Moore for at least another season. Especially since Moore has experience playing the right side. I also think if they were to trade Moore, he would've been dealt already

It's the Kevan Miller signing that kind of makes me scratch my head coming from a business perspective

Also bringing in a top 4 LHD now means he or another top 4 d will be gone in the expansion draft. Would not be shocked at all if the Bruins have a major offseason next year.
