I like Nylander as well but we should probably focus on LD and C since that's where we need the most help right now. Not sure more wingers is what we need with Panarin, Buch, Kreider, Kakko, Lafreniere, and potentially Kravtsov in the mix. I'd personally put more emphasis on getting Trouba a more permanent partner, keep Lindgren and Fox together, and see what Tony D can do with the anchor that is Jack Johnson. Also, it remains to be seen if Strome or Chytil can handle 2C with Panarin

If we part with nylander, we'd want a top pairing defensive RHD,and/or a replacement winger, plus save some cap space.

So maybe Schneider, Buchnevich, and a pick???

Well, the question was asked. What Nylander trade would you do? This is one I'd do. If you want 2 more I'd do...
Nylander for Trouba 25% retained (2 million)
Nylander for Deangelo and Schnider
Those are really the only realistic deals that benifit the leafs. They got a lot better on the back end, but could use another top 4 guy.

Sometimes he plays 2c... but he'd probably play top line right wing with... I don't know, the ranger lines are so confusing.

Is he available? ... sure, anyone is available for the right price. Realistically though the teams don't line up well for a deal. If the Rangers thought Nylander was a good option for 2C they might try but they'd have to overspend cause they don't really have what Toronto needs. So nothing would work out

Hmmm, nah. Maybe if Schnider and a first were added, that would be good value wise. The only reason toronto does that is so they can flip those pieces for a nice defenceman.

Ya, I was about to mention it, but I was afraid someone would not like it. He didn't play in Calgary or Carolina. So maybe one of you other right defenceman with a good add (if it's Trouba, retention is neccisary).
