Description

Not sure how big the taxi squad is going to be, but I figure 6 players sounds about right. Nhl using it to help ease into a flat cap and allow some teams to use a 20 man roster to fit under the cap this year. I would like to see these lines to start with. Vesey and kerfoot have history and their speed would look good with Matthew. Line 2 is needs no explanation. Thornton would do nylander a world of good. If anyone can get that guy to play a full game and play some defense it would be Jumbo Joe. He did play with the sr nylander in Boston for a year, so there might be some high levels of respect from willy there and Robertson could be that lighting rod that digs pucks out and he has a good finish to his game. That would work out beautifully for Tampa. They start with Stamkos, Johnson and Gourde on the taxi squad allowing them to sign Sergachev, Cirelli and Cernak to long term deals. Give Hedman, Kucherov and Vasilevskiy days on the squad to keep them rested and fresh for a condensed season...
