Pass on those UFA's. Go for Kahun, Vatanen, and maybe a goalie.

Like others have said, you forgot about Olofsson. And once he's re-signed, we won't have cap space for much more than a depth signing.

They'll probably sign Olofsson over someone who had a career ending injury, just a thought. Also those lines are all over the place.

If they can fit another goalie under the cap Hutton would sit, but Olofsson is going to be a big chunk of change, theyre not going to be able to sign anyone else

I see no reason to sign Eaves.
Del Zotto >>> Davidson
Hutton >>> Irwin
Anderson would be a great pick up.
Nielsen would take up a spot for one of a better prospect IMO.
Three out of five are very good, one not so good, one WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!
Del Zotto, Hutton and Anderson could all play in the nhl right now, I like your idea.

Why not?
Irwin ($700,000) and C. Hutton ($1,000,000) to the minors plus do not sign Nielson ($1,500,000).
That is more than enough for another forward ($700,000) and double Olofsson salary ($1,500,000 to $3,000,000).
If I could sign Del Zotto, and B. Hutton for those salaries the team would be set and could move a RHD for another forward.
TBH, B. Hutton may be a better option than McCabe TBH.
The line up needs some work but the three signings are very good.
I said this before Wilson > Fogarty, Larsson = Eakin and $850,000 less, neither Irwin nor Davidson are equal to Gilmour or Redmond.
But Del Zotto and Hutton would be NHL contributors without a doubt would be two defensemen I would want to target

EDIT:
Go to https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/edit/2082755
I added Kahun, sent Del Zotto to the minors, gave Olofsson only $2,500,000, added Anderson at $700,000 and B. Hutton at $2,000,000.
I have Okposo in the line up as well.
I still have $301,666 of cap space.
It would work and to have C. Hutton and Del Zotto in the minors, that is depth.

Exactly the point, they arent spending to the cap, that wouldnt even clear their cap penalty

you thought they would be in the low $70,000,000 before they signed Hall.
Hutton and Del Zotto would upgrade our defense.
If a RHD could be moved for a RW of comparable skill, signing these two LHD would be a good move and significantly upgrade the team.

100% of my serious teams had a cap ceiling of 75-76, they are still on pace for that. They can not ignore the cap penalty, They can risk it with bonuses, its mostly all Dahlin

I already fixed that.
I gave Hutton and Kahun less.

If we did sign both Del Zotto and Hutton it is safe to say one of the RHD would be moved if possible.

McCabe beats Hutton in every defensive metric on Skatr. Being an offensive leaning dman doesnt make you a better dman
