Ignoring the extreme overpay, It’d make sense for both teams for it to be Korpisalo. He’s cheaper for the Sharks, and it allows the Blue Jackets to protect Kivlenieks.

Dont think its likely. The sharks signed a very noteworthy KHL goalie and seem to be excited about his future. Think they are just getting stopgaps to let him develop and be the future Sorokin/ Shesty type of goalie

Hes pretty good. Doing well on one of the worst teams in the KHL right now. Was wanted by the knights and Canes also, so must be pretty decent
