You could trade Risto for an actual ghost and aside from the powerplay the on ice impact would be no different. Buffalo wins this trade so long as Gostisbehere doesn't purposely shoot the puck into his own net. The 4th + cap space is a bonus

No thanks from Buffalo. Gostisbehere is barely an NHL player dude he got sent to the A and got healthy scratched this year.

I'm a fan of this. As much as I like Risto, he's probably not a fit on this team and Ghost despite a major down year has a ton of potential to bounce back and plays LD. Yes please

Risto for Ghost, NAK, and a 3rd is better value for Buffalo, we'd want a forward coming back and it would be near identical cap difference
