Description
Stammer has won his cup in Tampa. Now he could try doing it again in Toronto. They need that experience. Also Stammer/Matthews/Marner/Tavares/Rielly would hands down the most lethal power play in the league.

Sadly though TB can't keep these assets. They need to do further moves.

I love Stamkos but buying high on stammer could lead to a disaster for the team buying him - I think a better option for both teams is stammer + Johnson to get Stamkos for cheaper is what a team would do because they don’t want to pay for stammer full cost and him get injured

Can’t see Toronto offering nylander and a first

Fun exercise, but Ottawa would never trade for Nylander, Melnyk hates signing bonus money.

Not really. They only got into playoffs this season cause the league expanded to 24 teams. & why was the one thing the Islanders needed most over the last 2 seasons? Scoring. Well 73 goals in 145 regular season games and 8 points in 12 playoff games woulda really done that for them

I mean as a team at least NYI has been able to win playoff series. Unlike Leafs that is.
