His numbers are good enough i suppose but he always looks pretty bad out there

His first AHL season he looked like the next great NHL defender, now he's lucky to be the #7 guy. Sad how quickly he became a top prospect and then how fast he became an afterthought.

Had he not been injured before training camp last year, he would have been a regular. The kid needs time to adjust to the nhl game. But yes, right now he is a bit of a reliability in the defensive zone but his puck moving ability makes up for it. In fact, Maurice even said that if he can keep moving the puck like he does, he will stay in the lineup. Too bad he got injured again and then the jets got demelo. He’s had very bad luck imo and now I just think his time with the jets should be over.

Elsewhere, he could easily still become a top 4 guy
