    Is Barzal eligible for arbitration? It might not be a bad idea to get him for 1 year at a good price if he is. Pulock is the one you don’t want to go to arbitration considering his age. I don’t know if 1 year takes him to UFA but if it does, then yikes

    Barzal isn’t in arbitration so you have to a of time.

    He's not. A 4 year brings him to UFA, anything less I believe is RFA. I think they're waiting on Pulocks arbitration (prob isles so everyone can fit)

    1 year deal makes pulock an RFA again next summer, 2 years walks him to UFA. Letting him get to arbitration would be incredibly stupid - he needs to be signed to at least a 4 year deal.

    Lol I hope not, it actually makes sense for pulock to sign a backloaded 4-6 year deal.

    If this is what you’re panicking about, not sure why. This team would be fine and that trade is stomachable.

    Sure, I want more. I at least want a look for each of the prospects (you too, Josh). But this would still be at least a playoff team.

    Leddy and mayfield won’t mesh well. Both have low hockey IQ and they are open doors at the blue line. The best defenseman at preventing zone entries last season was......Devon toews.

    I’d rather see:

    Leddy-Dobson
    Greene-Mayfield

    Or

    Leddy-dobson
    Aho-mayfield
