Peg declines. Too many unknowns with Patrick and Myers isn’t worth Laine

The Philly trade would be very, very, very easy for Chevy to say no to.

Myers is a solid shutdown top 4D perfect partner for Heinola. Patrick would be coming home to Winnipeg. It’s not like Laine doesn’t have question marks either

Lol. Laine has question marks. That's hilarious. What are Laine's question marks, 30 goal, 40 goals?

His defensive skills and ability to contribute to a winning team and be a good locker room guy

There is no question about locker room issues, that is made up by you. Laine's defensive skills improved vastly last season, only people who don't watch him know that. Still very small queston marks for a players that is 7th in league history for goals at his age.

While Winnipeg is getting back a defenseman with a little more that half a decent season under his belt and a player that hasn't played in two years.

Those are equal question marks in your mind?

Don’t disagree and I like Myers, but not enough for Patrick to make up the difference for Laine.

Laine could bring Sanheim instead of Myers

I think Myers is a rarer breed to find.

Maybe, but at the price of a 40 goals scorer though?

This is all that needs to be said. Laine to flyers equals Sanheim /Myers + Frost + 1st to even get conversation started.

Patrick holds almost no value to any team outside of Philly with his health issues.

You're right, but it's health with Patrick that is the question mark. He has little to no value if he's hurt of retires, which has been rumoured
