So no trades
I know Tampa will probably send TJ Palat Gourde to Seattle and send a pick
Same for Islanders with Ladd for exemple
Nashville won't lose Ehkolm they'll do a trade before that happen

I think NSH protects 4 D in Josi, Ekholm, Fabbro, and Ellis.

Barre-Boulet has to play 40 games to be eligible for selection. My guess is he doesn't play 40 games.

Like I said in the description, TB will probably pay Seattle to pick one of Gourde Johnsson Palat

It'll be a choice between Soucy or Greenway from MN (protecting 4 d-men). I think they'll go with Greenway since there will be lots of similar quality d-men available from other teams.

Unless jones absolutely sucks this season when given more ice time oilers will protect.

Credit to OP for being probably the first person on this site with intelligence enough to see Guerin has options to avoid exposing Dumba, or like an idiot Rangers fan suggested, Brodin with his NMC. lol

I could see it going either way, depending on who other teams expose.

From my understanding if he misses the entire season he will not have played enough games in the past two years to qualify for exposure. Sadly our best case scenario is going the entire season without our number one d. That can all get shot to hell tho with the league and pro rating games played so it’s tough times tough decisions

He won't be exempt, EDM would just have to expose a different d-man that meets the games played and under contract for the next year requirements.
