He has two years left. They could retain 2 mill and trade him for more assets. Seems like a win to load up on assets

Drury is a good prospect. I was thinking maybe Honka instead since you guys need D. And you can retain a few mill on Nino and flip him for another 2nd and a prospect

What goalie has ever cost that much, basically 3 1st rd picks?

I get that Gibson is very good, but no way does a team ever pay that much for a goalie.

IMO Gibson’s a top 5 goalie in the nhl, he just doesn’t have the team around him... locked up 7 years at a cheap 6.4 mill and playing his best years though that contract? It’ll really take a lot for ANA to consider
