LOL, $5.25M retained for 3 years. I think if a team is going to pay essentially 10M for Hanafin for 3 years they will need more than one 1st.

Why are you including Barret in that trade?

Cuz CHI has a relatively strong C prospect pool, but FLA doesn't.

These aren't very good rebuilding trades for Chicago, they're giving far too many assets along with Toews and Keith which basically make them slightly better then lateral move trades, also there's zero chance Chicago is retaining 50% on Toews, that's completely unrealistic, long term retention for that much has almost never happened that I can recall but it's really not happening for this return.

Hawks pass on both of these. No sense in trading Barratt or Kampf, along with the leaders of the team.

I just dont see the need. If Florida is upgrading from Stralman to Keith then Chicago doesn't need to give up legit assets unless more than marchment + 2 + 3 is going back. Barrett is really good

The amount of upgrade between the two isn't that massive. Also Keith's 37, three years older than Strålman with one more year in his contract. I do believe that CHI needs to compensate the value.

If Barratt's too excessive, then how about Kurashev?

Barratt and Kurashev are off the table.

Honestly, Chicago easily says no to both these ideas.
