With so many teams in the playoff hunt, or at least don't want to acknowledge to their fans, the teams is "out of it", it's going to be a while till players are avaialable. Just by numbers you want think LHDs would be the most available. But looking at your requests, you're almost looking for supermodels on a Marco budget. Aren't we all?

Well, left D Cam Fowler at the trade deadline if Anaheim would trade for some young wingers (e.g. Hudon, Scherbak) and some picks (Cap should be alright at the deadline)

I would like to see Duchene in a Habs jersey, but this won´t happen. Maybe RNH is available. He is not so big, but he is a solid 2C.
Trade Plekanec, Juulsen and a pick or two. This could also fit some needs for Edmonton (Draisaitl could play 2C and cap space 2018 to resign McDavid).

Left wing guys like Jiri Hudler (DAL), Brock Nelson (NYI) or maybe Marcus Foligno (BUF).
Trade Carr and another prospect or a pick. Maybe even DD could be included in this deal.

From this can I take you're thinking Lekhoken is a bust?

Not at all. Just not second line material yet. Under normal circumstances he should be playing in the AHL, not NHL. Since he has an out clause to go back to Sweden, MTL figures its better to keep him here. I'm not sure letting him go play in Sweden for another year is the worst thing. Does he really help Montreal win a cup this year? I don't think so.

Well I guess it depends on what his issues are. Going back to a smaller rink and different style for another year isn't gonna help him adjust. I am inclined to agree re: the AHL and wish his contract was worded differently
