I like this, only thing I would change is replacing Robertson for Vessy or Barbanov in the lineup so the leafs could let Robertson’s contract slide for one more year. The leafs need all the cap space they can get especially in regards to the future.
onion liked this.

Robertson is one of the top prospects in the entire NHL. He dominated in the bubble and is going to be an absolute best when he turns pro. This year will definitely be his debut, and he's a Calder candidate. The rebuild is finally over, and all of their holes have finally been filled. It's time to throw all of the weapons all your disposal on the ice and win now. Worry about cap space later. The fact that you're still somehow able to stay under the cap is a borderline miracle. Take advantage of it.

calder convo is a stretch given the fact that guys like Laffy will be coming into the league, but should definitely start in the NHL imo, especially If the OHL is non contact. At the VERY LEAST he'll be a solid 3rd liner next year and fill the Kapanen void, and best case be a good top 6 guy

Every yr there's a guy like Robertson - too good for jr I say you definitely let him play his 9 games and then let his performance dictate if he stays or goes. Does anyone know if he could go the Matthews route and play in Europe for a yr??
