Detroit has the cap space to take Johnson's contract and needs center help. Tampa obviously needs to move Johnson and may be willing to move an RFA asset in return for futures. What would Tampa ask for in return and does either side even care to make this deal?

I'm probably being biased as a Wings fan, but the rights to Cirelli AND another piece are probably the cost alone to take on Johnson.

So, Johnson, Cirelli and a 4th for a 7th?

Say a 5 x $6.5m offer sheet where he receives a 2021 1st round pick plus a 2021 3rd round pick. No team is going to do Julien BriseBois any favors. So no team is going to offer Tampa fair value for Anthony Cirelli.

If I was Tampa I would prefer to lose sergachev and cernak before losing cirelli
