Pens must do this

Created by: PENSFAN18
Team: 2020-21 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 2, 2020
Published: Nov. 2, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I made two moves that could help the pens. Haula to Pittsburgh seems like a perfect fit. I resigned Sheary and I made the third line look even better than it did and hopefully ZAR is ready for the season and it makes the Penguins much deeper.

I agree with the UFAs they have signed there just isn't a need for him. He's making $1.2M and he is in the final year of his contract. You could buy him out its only $400K a season for 2 seasons.

Wings need as many NHL players as possible lmfao. They would take him and his little cap hit for free

This is incorrect, do you follow the nhl at all? Their roster is full now. Wings are declining this offer and pens add a 4th for us to take that Contract

I feel like we already had this discussion about Bjugstad @ full cap hit returning a mid round pick or how Murray was easily worth a first + prospect from Pitt fans. Take a look at a Detroit ACGM we are already loaded with bottom six guys which is why we finished where we did. Maybe you can find a taker but it doesn’t make sense for us based on our existing contracts.

Your politic takes are good, your hockey Takes? Not so much lmfao. Pens aren’t adding a 4th to take that contract. He makes 1.2 million lol that’s not a cap dump.

We can just waive him and he makes practically nothing. No big deal

That’s fine but goes against what you initially posted which is why I posted. Owners are tightening their wallets as not every team has a 40M/Yr arena branding deal and I’d rather use that budget to acquire picks or better our team (which this doesn’t).

Erne and maybe Neilson are the only players I'd put behind Sceviour and I expect they will be healthy scratches quite often.

Since I made a statement and didn't answer your question in my last post I'll do that now. It would depend on when the season starts and the prospects currently playing in the European Leagues. If Yzerman is happy with the progress and leaves them to finish out the season then yeah I could see him having interest in Sceviour.

But McCann isn’t a Right-winger?? He’s a left-handed shot?? They arnt just inter-changeable. Go bat left-handed today, even though u are a right-handed batter and have always batted right. We need more left-handed batters in our-line-up. And switch Today, in the MLB, against MLB pitching and other MLB players. Great idea. Baseball coaches should just tell players to do that too
