Doesn't really make sense for Habs to sign Hoffman now. It just means Habs will have to protect him in the expansion draft and leave someone else exposed. I think the offence is set for this year and you can explore adding a forward next season after you see who Seattle takes from you. I would personally leave Drouin exposed and hope Seattle are tempted and then replace him in free agency with a Hoffman or a Hall.

You didn't consider the Seattle Expansion. Chiarot or Edmundson are off the books then.

without Hoffman and the Cap room, you have $7M + 3.5 from one above = 10.5
minus 5.5 Tatar 3 Armia leaving you with 1.5 to round out the roster.

Mete moves to 3LD and Fleury to 3RD.
