Many chicago fans on twitter apparently but they're either some of the dumbest entities in the known universe or struggling to let go of what they had.

These look okay the Keith return far too low but

He's only 5ish M and still top pair capable so

3 years of an early 30s Hall of Famer for picks below 25, a cap destroyer and an overpaid problematic D?

What? Confused

Ummm both is not happening but I agree, one of them needs to be removed and replaced with a less valuable piece like a 2nd or 3rd or Reinhardt needs to be replaced by Okposso and one of Quinn or Cozens removed.

Risto isn't playing ahead of Boqvist and he's way overpaid which means the Hawks will end up eating a good chunk of his cap hit in a year to trade him (he has no long term value), plus this AGM made huge error in forgetting to bring up Mitchell, Carlsson (since you traded De Haan and Seeler is a AHL player) and most importantly forgot to sign Strome!

I don't see any team paying a top prospect and a 1st to take on that much money right now.

Probably going to run out the next 3 years of the deal.

Or perhaps they know Kane and Toews aren't interested in waiving since they have the control not the Hawks....try using some logic instead of insulting.

I don't see Kane waiving period and I don't see the Hawks wanting to move him either. That said, if he was to go to the Hawks and say "get me a deal in Buffalo" it's going to take a boat load to get him but the Hawks would have to retain about $2M. A 1st, Quinn or Cozens, Reinhardt and a cap dump is about right for Kane at $8.5M. Again, won't happen as Kane won't waive and Hawks don't want to let him go and furthermore from Buffalo's perspective they aren't ready to compete for a cup which would be the reason this would make sense for them.

Trading for Kane will set us back. Quinn will be good on the top line with Eichel. Very detrimental from our perspective.

Yikes.
I think CHI is stuck with those guys unless they take less in the return. Sure these guys are awesome and future HofFers, but the price, outside of Keith, is kinda bonkers.
