Interesting term. I would have offered another $1.5M or so and tried to get him for at least 5 years. The ask will probably be $7M+ when this deal is done? Not ideal for the Islanders

He’s a good defender, reliable for 35 or so points a season. Key piece on the Islanders back end, and will be a good mentor for Dobson too

It’s a fair deal. Pulock is worth it, although if they’re paying him $5 million I don’t know why they wouldn’t go longer than 2 years.

GM of the year is prob j another award based off reputation, no way Lou should’ve won it. What did he do, overpay for Pageau and Greene?

5 Million for a guy with his numbers is very good. Term is pretty bad but the AAV is very good considering the overpayment of depth. Looks like they will be dumping Boychuk or someone else to be able to sign Barzal.

He mainly won it based on longevity and the fact the islanders ended up in the conference finals.

Devils have 4 million in dead cap thanks to his contracts and Toronto's entire offseason last year was getting out from under the Marleau and Zaitsev deals.
