Awful plan to rely on LTIR when both players have shown the desire to return. Ladd played in the bubble if I’m not mistaken

They’re both injury prone and are so bad they should realistically retire or take an LTIR assignment, but since they’re determined to make the Islanders worse with every mere second they’re on the ice, that seems impossible. They’re playing, for some reason. Just trade a 1st and it’s over

Ladd with his health could be a LTIR candidate, But you can't just put Boychuk on LTIR if he's not injured.
