Tampa would rather keep cernak than trade him for a 2nd I’d think - their d core is better off with him and could get more at TDL if they have to move him or something

Cernak wouldn't get you Dunn anyway. And I doubt Perunovich is ready for a line-up job at this time.

I'm sure Tampa would rather keep him compared to trade him, but they have some serious cap issues that they are facing with their 3 main RFAs. If they are decide to prioritize the other 2 RFAs, then Cernak may be a cap casualty.

If Cernak and a 3rd wouldn't get Dunn, what do you think Dunn would cost?

As for Perunovich, depending on what happens with the AHL, I wouldn't be shocked if he got 3rd line minutes as he got adjusted to the NHL.

1- Some imagine that, theoretically, Dunn might cost a mid-first or a 20-ish goal winger. But I think the Blues would need to be bowled over to deal him.

2- The left side already has Krug, Scandella (who seems to be Parayko's permanent partner at this point) and Dunn. So unless someone is out, I don't know where he could possibly find minutes.
