    I think senators are better off letting their own prospects grow and saving that money for them. Barzal won't move the needle right now anyway.

    The smart thing to do is to play Hogberg. Nilsson is likely done, and no way is EDM doing that.

    Also the compensation on that contract would be four 1st round picks, and there's absolutely no way Ottawa should even consider doing something like that.

    Koskinen had a .917 save percentage last year, he significantly outplayed his backup, and Edmonton seems committed to him being their starter for this year. Why would they give up assets to move him?
