I'm not sure Schmidt will be good next to Hughes. There's reason Schmidt played with McNabb and not Theodore in Vegas.

I like Jensen and hes been playing well of late in the KHL. Id say it is fair value. I wonder what Caps fans think of this trade?

You’re thinking of the other Jensen, this Nick Jensen is a defenseman, a good skater, solid defensively and was one of the only players that played well in the playoffs for the Caps this year.

Leason would be tough to let go, but Virtanen really fits the Caps style imo. I’d be willing to do that, especially since we signed Schultz this offseason and we have Fehervary NHL ready.
