    I see no point in dumping Leo if you sign Soderberg for the same. Dumping Ladd would take much more than a 2nd (his contract is much worse than Boychuk's) and Hickey is not an NHL material any more.

    Cost far more then a 2nd to move Ladd, LA declines doubt there's much interest in Boychuk.

    Ladd to Ottawa doesn't work, you can't add enough to make it work. It wrecks their rebuild.

    I would take that trade for the Kings. There's a reason why we're 30th on the cap list, and having Boychuk sit in the pressbox while we play Maata-Doughty, Anderson-Walker and Clague/MacDermid-Roy doesn't restrict us unduly.
