I think Kane is still great, but he’s almost 32 years old & makes $10.5M for 3 more years. Taking on that contract, LAK wouldn’t give up a young & cheap future Top 6 center.

LA would be foolish to trade for Kane, They're not a Kane trade away from winning a cup. And he'd not be that cheap to acquire.

Why would kane waive his nmc to go to a team that's not ready to compete yet? And kane doesn't turn LA into a contender

By the time Kings are ready to win cups, its very likely Kane won't be good anymore.

If Byfield really is the real deal like people say, I'm sure he'll be one of those very good centers that does not need great linemates to be successful. Turcotte and maybe Simontaival will do. If not, Kings will have the assets to give up for a top 6 RW.

Hawks easily reject. Kane is still a star and because he does not play a physical game he won't wear down as fast as other players. As a Hawks fan I'd want Turcotte or Vilardi, Bjornfot and a 1st
