That offer isn't even close for Gaudreau. Starts with Suzuki/Kotki ++

Stop reading Eklund rumors as if they have even remotely any merit to them

Are Habs fans becoming Leafs fans or something? What is that trade? Would you accept Hajek and a 2nd for Kaiden Guhle?

I am not going to argue opinions. I said in the discription this is the MAX I would offer. I really don't care what anyone else has to say. No way would I give up Suzuki or KK for Gaudreau especially since I would not do it for Laine who is better than Gaudreau.

Read the discription they were allowed to extend them before the trade is finalized. That means they are NOT rentals.

Laine is not better than Gaudreau. LMAO.

Your takes are just something else, if you dont care what anyone else thinks then dont post it, because your offer is obviously crap and you should fully expect criticism.

Schneider was just drafted 19th overall. The Rangers TRADED UP to draft him. Brett Kulak is not worth the difference between a 1st and 2nd either, especially when this year's draft class is factored in.

I think the trade for Gaudreau would have to include a couple high end prospects. Primeau and Poehling.

Poehling isn’t a high end prospect, he’s barely a B prospect honestly. Primeau is good but we have Markstrom for now and Wolf for later so not overly interested. Suzuki or KK plus far more or there’s literally not a chance, Calgary is a much better team than Montreal and we’re trying to contend not sell, so it doesn’t make sense to give up our main offensive driver for pending UFAs, mid-round picks, or B prospects.

I wasn't trying to offend you or anyone else. I outlined in the discription that this was max I would be willing to pay. I never asked if it was fair value or anything else like that. I have seen a ton of offers for Gaudreau today and just stated my opinion. I knew flames fans would think the value is too low but again I didn't want to argue opinions because I am just too tired. Gaudreau is a 80-100 point player when he is on his game which he was not this year. Also Gaudreau is rumoured to be wanting to return home to Philly in 2 years time so he would be considered sort of a rental as well. The deal had Tatar to offset some of the scoring loss suffered by losing Gaudreau. Armia who is a possession monster. Struble who is a B+ or A- defensive prospect and a 2nd for again a 2 year rental in Gaudreau. The ONLY way I would consider moving more is IF I had some sort of assurance that Gaudreau wouldn't walk in 2 years time and if he did we got some compensation back. As for my thinking that Laine is better than Gaudreau, we all have our opinions and quite honestly neither is right or wrong they are just different. Laine is bigger, younger, scores more goals and has come along more defensively than Gaudreau. So IMO he is worth more than Gaudreau. But I still wouldn't give up Suzuki or KK for him either. The Habs have been lacking at center for 20+ years now that we no longer have to worry about that I wouldn't give it up unless it was for something like a McDavid or MacKinnon. Of course the Habs would have to add a lot for one of those types of players but that would be the only scenario I would consider moving one of Suzuki or Kotkaniemi.

That's your OPINION but I am not going to call you stupid or dumb cause of it . I don't see where a difference of opionion warrants calling someone stupid but ok.

Seriously crimes against humanity?! Don't you think that's a little extreme to compare a trade proposal on a random fan website to the mass murders of women and children in war torn countries?

Does nobody read the discription anymore. The deal had both Tatar and Armia extend with Calgary as part of finalizing the deal! Therefore they cannot be considered pending UFA's or rentals!

Well the are based off of a post by Eklund which was stated in most of the comment sections of the Gaudreau to Montreal threads. So regardless of whether you read what Eklund posted or are just following the sheep in front of you, you are spreading a rumor with zero credibility

Ok whatever you say. Like I said at the beginning I was posting my opinion of what I would be willing to give up. I was not posing a trade just responding to a number of threads I had seen. I even said as much in the discription IF you had bothered to read it.

Oh I read it, that's why I responded accordingly with my first comment.

A bunch of scrubs for Johnny Gaudreau, And he walks home to Philly in 2 years as well. This was an Eklund rumor there's nothing linking Gaudreau to Montreal.

You do realize don't you that one of those "scrubs" as you call him actually had more goals and more points than Gaudreau last year, is a better player in the defensive end of the rink, and cost 2 million less on the cap? Yes Tatar only has 1 year left on his contract, Gaudreau only has 2. Time to start evaluating possible trades based on current performance on the ice and cost of contract vs reputation and name recognition.
