As a Hawks fan no thank you. Our blueline is stronger now than every before and Kruger is our best Penalty Killer and Hammer is our best shut down defenseman and we have traded our 1st round picks the past 2 seasons.

Giordano can easily take you to another cup if he plays behind Keith.

Keith-Seabrook (Worked well before)
Giordano-Campbell

Deadly defense for the next few years. You don't have to trade 1st rounder then, however it's almost guaranteed to be insignificant.

Thirty three year old at 6.75m for over 5 years. Questionable expansion claim, never mind to a team with cap problems.

Well Campbell's on a one year deal and they most likely will not resign him so thats a one year solution whereas kruger, hammer, pokka and whoever the first pans out to be will help us for the next three to four years.

As a Flames Fan I honestly don't think that the Hawks would take this... Unless of course the Flames retain some salary, and that first rounder is a 5th/6th
