    He was great under Hynes in NJ, but Nashville probably isn't enticing. Then again, who thought Buffalo would be?

    I gotta think Nashville gave him a similar offer. I guess he just preferred to sign in Buffalo which is crazy to me

    Exactly! I kinda figured Nashville would’ve made way more sense than Buffalo

    on paper? yes.
    defensively? yes.

    but Nashville is where offense goes to die, and someone as inconsistent as Taylor Hall would probably struggle there - especially on a line with Ryan Johansen.

    He signed in Buffalo because he can basically write his own ticket to go anywhere at the deadline while living closeish to home for most of the year
