Description

At the expansion draft we protect 4 and 4 and likely lose Colin Miller or Tage Thompson.
Lets us resign one of the goalies (Ullmark or Raanta) before the draft.
Protections are: Skinner, Eichel, Reinhart and Olofsson. Dahlin, Chychrun, Risto and Joki.
Next year's extensions: Hall 9.5M x 5, Dahlin 6.5M x 3, Jokiharju 3.5M x 4, Reinhart 7M x 6.
That leaves approximately 6-8 million for 2 goalies and 4 skaters, of which Luukkonen (800k), Quinn (925k), Asplund (845k), Samuelsson (925k), and Bryson (900k), could all be part of.

Fine by me. We can't extend Ullmark until after the expansion draft then which leaves us a couple day window before "July 1".

They're deep on D and low on high end prospects and supposedly trying to cut money still. I included Mittelstadt and a 2nd round pick because he is valuable.

That's probably close to the value of Chychrun. He is highly underrated and I'd give that package up for him right here right now
