Cash is the biggest issue in AZ. You have them taking on $3.4M in the WPG trade, saving $500k in the CAR trade and taking on $2M in the TOR trade. That's $4.9M in additional cash for a team that was/is looking to shed many of their large cash obligations. I just don't see it.

Laine is worth more.
Jets would ask for Schmaltz, Chychrun and a 1st, not sure they would get it, but they would ask

Garland is better than Schmaltz and much cheaper. Likely will make less than Schmaltz on a new contract
