How is that an upgrade? Besides Rittich having more NHL games under his belt I don't see how Rittich can be considered better than Francouz

I'm not sure Rittich is better. My knowledge of Francouz is limited, as I am sure yours of Rittich is as well (as is the nature of fandom, we know our guys better), so I will add some information regarding Rittich and that is that each of the past 2 years, he has been injured in the 2nd half and that has really hurt his numbers. In 2018-19 he was hurt in the NYE game and last year around the ASG. I believe his durability is more of a question to him being a starter than his ability IMO.
