Description
I know this messes up the expansion draft as you would most likely protect debrusk, but if lucic waives his NMC then this could be the flames in 2021.

I'm pretty sure if flames trade Hannifin they want a cheap Rd. I think they want Brandon carlo more than Jake debrusk.
I think Hannifin and a 2nd for jake debrusk and Brandon carlo. Idk if this is fair though.

4 years takes debrusk right to UFA without buying out any years, so that’s not going to work. I think the Bruins accept the deal though

And the bruins would want tkachuk instead of hanifin, but lets stay on planet earth.

Carlo is better than hanifin. He’s cheaper than hanifin. He’s younger than hanifin. No, he and debrusk aren’t part of a package to get hanifin. That’s insanity.

The only thing in this sentence that was actually correct was Carlo is cheaper than Hanifin.
Carlo is 2 months older than Hanifin and is about on par with Hanifin skill wise. Carlo is a lot better defensively but much worse offensively.

Carlo isn't even that much better than Hanifin defensively and Hanifin is a ofd.
Carlo is also 2 inches taller so it gives an advantage
NHL 21 rates Noah Hanifin as an 84 and Brandon Carlo as an 82

Ok im just gonna stop you right there, if you're using NHL21 as proof in this argument you already lost the argument.

did you just use an overall of a mediocre video game to tell us how good a national hockey league player is?

Ok I am aware that he used a really bad comparison system so ill make up for it here.

Huh. Right you are. For some reason i thought they were a draft apart.

But nah, Carlo is better at playing hockey.

This is a waste of HTML. It’s nothing. It’s useless.

It is a crutch for the weak minded and unimaginative that are either too lazy, unsure of themselves, or cowardly to dare to have their own opinion, or a spine.

What? Did you just call me lazy for actually going and doing research? I am merely showing stats, they are by no means the final answer, but they also arent wrong. Ignoring them like you are is like believing the earth is flat because the bible says so even though science says otherwise.

What a primitive point of view

It’s an attempt to make something subjective objective. The charts are inherently lazy or cowardly. Has to be one.

Hanifin is better offensively and has the edge all-around but Carlo is a defensive dman and he's really good defensively/on the PK. This one is close imo, I'm taking Carlo because I prefer players who are better defensively. But the NHL21 argument was garbage.

I completely agree with your analysis and have no issues eith your view point. I think it is dependent on twam needs though. With Andersson and Tanev a defensive RD is less needed for Calgary whereas with Gio's regression having the offensive upside of Hanifin to help shelter both Valimaki and Kylington is very nice
