They’re trying to sign sergachev, not give him away. They’re trying to get rid of guys like kilorn, palat and/or Johnson. Those are players the devils could get from them.

Yes, that is all true, but no one wants those players ... not to mention they all have NTC. Something has to give at some point in TB.

How does adding cap help TB?? If Ty Smith is almost ready there's your deal.

Other than holding out or offer sheet, what options do Cernak, Sergachev and Cirelli have?? If NJ wants Sergachev a 4x6 Offer Sheet would cost next year's 1st and 3rd rd picks. And walks him straight into UFA....

Bahl+ is a more likely option
Not sure if Tampa wants a kid we no nhl experience.
I'd say Smith with an add but he's probably not bug enough, Tampa D are all on the larger side

Butcher alone doesn't get Mikhail Sergachev need to add more then this.
