Definitely a no from Detroit. Wouldn't do Seider for Sergachev straight up. He's Yzerman's 1st draft pick in Detroit and has great potential.

Any team with good defensive prospects was really what I was thinking in order for Tampa to take on less salary and stay relevant for years to come they need to build young talent.

laugh laugh Seider by himself is worth more then Sergachev, Let alone adding 2 high 2nd round picks to the deal, And no freaking way is Tyler Johnson waiving his full NTC for a Non-Playoff team like New Jersey. Detroit says Hell No and Tyler Johnson says Hell No.

It's been reported he's willing to waive to go to a bad team eventually he will be picked up by Seattle no matter where he goes in a year.

Seider isn’t just a good defensemen prospect though and it would be extremely hard for TB to match a second round compensation OS. I’d give you a good prospect like Rasmussen.

Detroit is early in the rebuild. There's no reason to fast track it. That's what got Buffalo in trouble. The goal is to add quality defensemen around Seider and Hronek. Not trade them away. Sergachev is better right now. But Seider's upside is too high to give up. I understand Tampa's need to cut salary. But Yzerman isn't looking for quick fixes and he's also not throwing away 2nd round picks. That's the Kenny Holland way.

Switch Goodrow and Cirelli. Put Cirelli at 2C and Gourde at 3C. Move Stamkos to LW2 and Goodrow LW3. Switch Palat and Rakell. By the way Cirelli probably won't sign that and the trades are unrealistic. Why does everyone think the Lightning are trading for Rackell?

No one is bailing TB out if they haven’t already, works both ways on speculation.

The Lightning have other things to prioritize. Nathan Mackinnon is on a good deal. Does that mean they're trading for him?

I'll remind you somehow Tampa signed Point who scored 40 goals last year at less than 7 schmil they'll find a way

Tampa is in no position to ask for that kind of offer for Mikhail Sergachev, Teams could easily offer sheet him for a 1st and 3rd round pick in the $6.5 million per range. And BriseBois could never match it. He's already in danger of losing two of Cernak, Cirelli and Sergachev. And it's going to take far more then just a 2nd and 3rd round pick to move Tyler Johnson's contract and he's not getting Travis Zajak either.

Don't compare rakell to mackdaddy. Rakell is on a very good deal and most likely will be traded in a year and a half, why not just trade him now for better value.

If this is true, I can 100% guarantee you it's Detroit, just because he loved playing under Yzerman and he can get 2C minutes in Detroit for one season. New Jerseys top 6 is pretty much set he'd probably be getting 3rd line minutes there and that would be a no go.

In my Tampa ACGM roster I have Johnson being traded with Barre-Boulet and a 1st attached to him.

They've likely received offer sheets but don't want to sign them. They obviously want to stay. But there will come a time where Brisebois has to $hit or get off the pot.

He's hurting himself by pretending he has any kind of leverage. Nothing will happen until December at the earliest.

I see Sergachev, Cirelli and Cernak signing bridge deals. It'll be for less than what most people think. But Brisebois still has to move out some significant salary unless he plays the Stamkos LTIR card at the last minute. He'll have to eat a warm sandwich one way or the other.

You can't just put someone on LTIR they have to fail a physical for that Stamers not sitting out a year of his prime.
