3rd is on the wrong side of that Byron deal probably need to add at least a 2nd too

Use Johnsson's trade from Toronto as a comparable. Byron a bit better player, but also older, so should get the same type of return as Toronto got, which is very little, but did not need to include picks to move him. Byron returns the most value at this point by remaining with Montreal.

Granlund provides depth at the wing & center if Kotk or Suzuki struggle. He’s also a possible replacement for Danault if he wants to much to re-sign.
