Would rather keep Neal then pay that price to trade him. You could even argue that contract for Anderson is even worse.

I personally don’t buy into Neal being any sort of problem worth paying huge to remove. Very respectable pro in and around the team and on ice this past season I feel exceeded expectations and did exactly what we hoped he would before busting up his foot after that happened it’s hard to fault the guy for dropping off a cliff. It’s not an injury overly concerned will have lingering effects so I vote we let him kill it on the pp help maintain a top of the league unit. It’s completely possible he has a strong season in more of a depth role if puts up close to 30 goals it’s entirely possible Seattle gives him a good look for free if not so be it not exactly a worst case scenario either way. Will have options down the road

Then go do it. Why hasn't he been traded yet?

Kris Russell in the top-4? tears of joy

I don't agree with the Andersen add (or his contract), but the team is certainly looking stronger as the Chiarelli contracts drop off.

They cant trade him without asking for his no trade list first. Obviously that hasnt happened so hes not currently being shopped

They're going to have to do something soon. Killorn is probably the easiest guy to move.

Both aren't good, term is obviously a killer but Anderson isn't worth that much anymore at his age. Maybe a team pays that's for 1 year but he needs to have a good season this year to get that in FA
