well no, Marner is in the top 1% of players in setting up goals. He's also good defensively, can score 20+ goals, PK as an elite counter attacker and is an incredible transition player. And he dissapeared in a 5 game play in but was one of the leafs better players other years.

And yes, Ehlers is not way better than Nylander.

The leafs don't need another goal scorer. We already have 3 30+ goal scorers in Matthews Nylander and Tavares, and Marner and Hyman have easily proven they can hit 20.

except that he didnt. His defensive gains were minimal. He went from legit being one of the worst defensive players in the league to horrific. Just because he was worse before doesnt mean he still isnt horrific.
