I think Sergachev at least will cost 1.75M less than Laine this upcoming season which makes him much more important. Also dont really need more pure goal scorers

Value is fair but I don’t think Tampa should do it. Look at their defence with Luke Schenn in the top 4. Would be a disaster!

I don't think Tampa Bay would do this. Sergachev is super important to the Lightning.

I agree but I hope they can figure out a way to sign all three players, I like gourde, palat, johnson, and killorn but sadly some gotta move for the younger guys to stay.

The Jets will never do that....Serg is a extra piece that the Jets don't need especially for that price

The Jets will just OS him if they want him and lose a 1st and a 3rd

Tampa declines, You're still 2 players short and $166,666 over the cap. And Sergachev alone doesn't get Patrik Laine.

I mean if they are interested in him and he is willing to go there we pay some to take him for one year like a rebuilder, they secure their players and seattle gets a player they want.

Laine has more value but TB can't afford the guy and aren't in position to move Sergachev, and frankly they don't really need Laine.

Seattle has the same rules that Vegas had and since they have made the playoffs in all 3 seasons and have made it to a conference final and a Stanley Cup Final. I think he'd waive for Seattle long before he waives for Detroit.

Demelo or pionk would have to be added to laine and then some quality expensive forwards from Tb back. Jets probably going 731 in expansion. So sergachev steals one of those three spots, So a 2c or another winger to replace some of laine production might make this work. A 1 for 1 or picks added don’t make a lot of sense, and Tb can only do it for some cap relief and a possible defenseman back that potentially fills the hole in top 4.
