Adding bad long term contracts isn't necessarily a rebuild

NSH has been in the running for Kessel in the past, but I think that's over and done with. They aren't interested in him at this stage of his career + he doesn't fit Poile's intentions for next season (getting younger, promoting prospects)

I can’t see holland paying to remove Neal after only playing half a healthy season.... Before getting hurt he was on pace for 30 goals i don’t understand why people think desperate to remove that production. He’s not even that overpaid if factor in it’s a pre COVID contract that’s what it costs for a reliable veteran that provides goals consistently.

Kessel still has a caphit of 6.8M for 2 seasons. He has trade protection. His last season in Arizona was terrible. You can keep him. I wouldn't give you a 2nd if you retained 50%. His age is showing and goes against where Nashville should be going.
