Like the Nashville and Florida trades. Not sure if they will. No reason to trade Chytil at this point and I still have hope for Trouba to be a solid, if overpaid, defenseman.

Pens accept!! Atleast I would and I would be happy with the trade!!

And I think Pens would probably be interested in P.Buchevich for a late 1st too.

I think R.Strome is now overpaid. I would be pissed if the Pens traded for him and paid a 3C 4.5M/ year.

Probably b/c of his term. 8M/ year is top for a RHD. Letang took Less than the 8m per b/c Crosby took less on his contract and said it doesn’t work unless everyone takes alittle less. So letang and Geno took alittle less than what they were worth too. And Letang was 8M per year for a top RHD. So he took 7.25M/ year. And Trouba is being paid 8M for 6 more years. If they weren’t taking back any other contracts in the deal. Then yes, they would have to get rid of assets to get off his 8M per year contract for 6 more years. 7 included this year.

Its pretty much over but read the explanation. Shouldnt have expected you to though because youre a leafs fan.

Agreed he is a 3C but did put up 60+ points this year. Maybe a team would take a chance for one year that he has another great year.

8mil on a long term deal for a second pair dman would cost a lot more than 1 first. Made it only 1 because a team might take a chance on him.
