Actually this almost fixes the Lightening, They will still only have 8.145 mil in space after just factoring in Buchnevich, so they will still need to trade one other contract to make it work. Although Tampa fans are probably going to demand more from the Rangers for Stamkos.

i could see maybe someone thats low in value who makes 1-2 mil most. just to bury them or soemthing.

If Tampa is trying to clear cap why would they bring in someone making only 2mil less than the guy they’re trading? Especially when it’s a VERY significant downgrade?

I think they still need 4 mil to sign all 3 of Cirelli (5.5-6 mil), Sergachev (4.5-5 Mil) and Cernak (1.5-2.5 Mil) all on 1-3 year deals,

Basically for the Lightening to get out of their mess they need to trade 9-11 Mil in cap space without taking any roster players back. If you did Stamkos for all picks and prospects then they could bury a colburn or someone similar. Not saying it can't be done but it will be very difficult

Miller is pretty much NHL ready. They said they loved what they saw from him in camp so I expect him over Libor

maybe 2021-22, he played in camp, not the actual playin round. id wait. maybe midseason call up

Tampa declines, Kreider is downgrade from Stamkos and only saves Tampa $2 million. And i doubt either waives anyhow.

He will be on the 21 roster
