Description
u may hav seen my last rangers ACGM: i dont like zibanejad. take all of these with a grain of salt as i try to ship him off for whatever the hell comes back. ik rangers fans would be heartbroken to see their lord and savior gone, but zibanejad won't get u far in the playoffs as a 1C. neither will ryan lindgren as ur #1LD. they need upgrades. imo these guys should've gone after kruger in the offseason - kruger and fox as their #1 pairing would tear up the league. deangelo-trouba as a 2nd pairing would've been lethal as well. they could've solved everything by signing kruger. but they didnt. so now this is what imo they shld do.

on a seperate note, wtf was that jack johnson signing? like was he tryna make a mockery of the team?

the idea was to have a cycle between miller and hajek... who's better rangers fans?

The picks in the ANA deal are going the wrong way.

Blues can't afford to make that trade. Nor does it make any sense for the Rangers.

The Offer-Sheet doesn't work due to cap bonuses.

Trading our only good center for more defense we can't fit and another 1st we technically don't need? Zibanejad has way more value to us than Dunn + 1st for him.

Lol. I think you just dislike him. He is a 40 goal 80 point center. What's not to like?

Vince Dunn is fantastic and definitely would fix our issues now but happens with our loaded D come through the pipelines?

idk i dont feel like he's a true number 1 center - but we can agree to disagree. i'm also more of an advanced stats person and his rapm isn't amazing.
as per ur second sentence... that's not my job hehe

If your advanced statistics turn a blind eye to 40x80 Centers than I'm glad not to be part of the crowdtears of joy

blind eye no. but a lot of rangers fans think he's on par with the barzals and dubois of the world. not even close.

Mika was on pace for 59 goals over an 82 game season. He had 23 goals in his last 22 games. Are you kidding me about him not being a good 1C? You've clearly never watched him cause he is one of the few players that can absolutely take over games. Example scoring 5 goals against the capitals.

The Blues do not need another center, they already have three outstanding top 6 options. And it would need to be a shockingly good ELC-cheap return for them to deal Dunn AND the 2021 1st.

I mean you’d have to at least consider extending that
return qualification to another 1C. Zib/ROR is probably top 5 center combos in the league. Thomas could stay at RW or go to 3C and we’d be lethal.

Nah, it's time for Thomas to get more ice time with our better wingers. We'd be getting older, miss another chance to rebuild our prospect pool and then would probably also have to sacrifice Schwartz next summer, all for a total luxury item. Hard pass.

Mika right now is better than barzy because he scores. Barzal has had 1 20 goal season so far, he scored 22 with tavares in his calder winning season.
