So this is basically what I predicted before, except STL is switched with MIN and PIT is switched with CAR.

The Canadian division is nothing new/surprising that hasn’t been discussed already.

The East division should be really tough, and the Bruins should be very worried right now. Not much difference for the 6 Metro teams.

The Central may be the weakest division, and this is an absolute Godsend for the Penguins. They could still miss the playoffs, but it’ll be a lot easier to make it in this division than in the Metro.

COL and VGK are going to absolutely dominate the West. DAL should finish third, and if there’s no wildcard, somehow SJS or MIN could make the playoffs, which would be hilarious, but also really annoying for fans of good teams that will miss the playoffs.

i feel like tbl would swap with philly or washington... but yeah the east is an absolute wagon this year if these are the updated divisions. the question comes with conferences obviously. would canada division be eastern or western conference? that changes the whole layout as far as playoffs go. do you get rid of conferences for a year, do a truly 1-16 playoff format? and logistics wise how is this a good representation of the league? so youll have canadian teams playing each other for how long? they cant come to the states and go back so do the canadian teams just duke it out against themselves and the rest of the nhl plays against each other? is each division strictly just playing each division. so many questions that kind of dont really make a whole lot of logistical sense when you pose just oh hey lets just separate the divisions.
