Not 1 vs 1. Montreal has to add something.... but don't forget... Makar has to resign.... Grubauer will be UFA... So AVS has to check how much they want to put on Makar and also check who's gonna be goalie #1.... I'm pretty sure Landeskog will stay with COL... but hockey stay business.... Tatar still a good player and can be a good remplace.... The real captain is MacKinnon anyways.... We'll see... But like I said... It's just an idea to talk about it and see what could happen.

That has no effect on a Tatar-Landeskog trade since they are both UFAs after this season. Youre asking COL to downgrade and trade their captain right before a season when they are considered cup favourites - theres 0 chance of that happening

Also the Avs can afford Landeskog, Makar, and Grubauer extensions - look at all the money coming off the books next offseason - Cole, Saad, Calvert, Bellemare, Graves/Compher/Whoever is taken by Seattle. Replace those guys with ELCs like Newhook, Byram, Kaut, etc and theres room for everyone else

Landeskog in Colorado is like Gally in MTL, both cannot be traded
