I can't see them breaking up JoFA and I can't see them trading away two young prospects that they have talked about all summer getting a shot at NHL action this upcoming season (less so for Pitlick). Poile wants to play the young players, not trade them for 30+ year old guys. I like Palat, but he doesn't fit with NSH's plans at that price. On the other hand, Killorn for a mid round pick make a lot more sense for NSH.

I like Palat but he’s not what Nashville needs. Nashville needs goal scoring. Palat has gotten over 20G once in 7 seasons of play. That’s also too much to give up for him and doesn’t really mesh with the idea of getting younger.
